Action Plans and Reports

In 2012, REE organized USDA’s research priorities in the REE Action Plan (Plan), stemming from the Department’s Strategic Plan. With extensive stakeholder input, the Plan was updated in 2014. The seven goals identified in the Plan serve as a guide for USDA science and research investment with agencies aligning their own strategic plans to it. Each year, goal teams consisting of USDA senior leadership, come together to discuss new and ongoing science and research projects. After careful assessment of accomplishments, the goal teams communicate significant results in the REE Action Plan Progress Reports.
